We had an insurance conference. Sailed out of Mumbai till Cochin for 3 nights.
From the welcome till departure everything was seamless. Thomas Cook employees were also coordinating with the Italian staff. We also had a lot of Indian staff to manage 300 of us.
The main meal was a buffet in Al Fresco and we had a choice with Tivoli where we had a sit down dinner to be booked a day in advance. With the Piu Gusto card we were allowed to consume limited drinks and starters.
Our Porthole room on the 6th floor was spacious and a comfortable bed and bathroom.
My only regret was the dinner options were over at 9;30. So after the crazy parties we had each night we had no food to gorge on at the wee hours. I feel if they are serving alcohol, they should have an all night restaurant.
The staff were always attentive, eager to serve us, even though the ship is old, it was the service that stood out.
