I just returned from 13 days on the Diamond Princess to New Zealand. Well..firstly the entertainment was completely NON-EXISTENT!! Each day that would hold events like "Guess the Price of the Painting"...some crappy piece of colour that was suppost to be attractive. Come to Efys..You could win an original piece of jewelry. Once again crappy costume jewelry. We played a game one day throw a ring around a Champagne Bottle. You line up for hours and whoever get the ring around wins the Champagne..this is today's entertainment. The Theatre hold about 200 people with a ship carrying 2000. Half of the entertainers are staff trying their best. My friends sheets had not been changed in 14 days! The food in Buffet for breakfast if you dared get up after 7.00am this was the only place open was Stone Cold!! The Bacon, Eggs, Toast. One day I saw a stack of about 50 piklets come out I waiting to they were set down...surprise surprise every one of them were Stone Cold! Most passengers were over 70 with their sticks and walking frames. They told us they were happy to sit in their cabin and read a book for Entertainment! The staff said they were treated really badly..one half day off in 3 weeks and stuff all for wages. The ports were great we booked the same excursions on land for about $70.00 that Princess Cruises were charging $250.00 for. Neither I nor my friend will ever ever travel with Princess Cruises again. So if you want a "fun/relaxing holiday with some activities GO TO ANOTHER LINE...this one should be known as The Crusing Nursing Home.

Cabin B4

The cabin was ok but uncared for. As stated neither our sheets were ever changed until my friend made a major complaint.
