We chose this cruise because of ports of call to curacao and then they canceled that port because the port was overbooked according to princess. We have been on 8 princess cruises and loved everyone except this one. I never have complained about them before and have never heard so many other people complaining. We have only two complaints or concerns but they are major. Normally the food is fabulous but this time the quality was not present. The selection in the dining room normally has a different type of steak each night and a shrimp type dish but the main staple was pork on this ship. We love dressing up and going to dinner but this time out of 14 days we ate 4 times in the dining room because of the menu. Also this was the first occurrence of seeing people allowed to wear shorts in the dining room as it looked like other cruise lines standards. Normally the buffet has theme nights but the food was almost the same every day and night. The only main carving meat was pork and hash browns were the ones out of a box and greasy. Normally if we want something that is not on menu one night we can get it if requested but not this cruise. Secondly, entertainment was okay, however something was wrong with scheduling because we had to get a seat in the theater at least an hour ahead or risk having no seats. I always have told people that haven't gone on a cruise with a concern of too many people onboard that I never know there's 3500 people because everyone is doing something different! But this ship somehow had all people headed in the same direction and we had to scramble for seating everywhere we went! Tommy the piano player in crooners was so good but to get a seat was almost impossible. So maybe it was a disorganized schedule of events, but I couldn't figure why it was happening. I love Princess Cruises and hope my next experience will be back to excellent because we love cruising and hope princess will improve on these concerns. By the way we still had fun but was just disappointed and would hate to see
