It was our anniversary and the other couple we cruised with was celebrating a milestone birthday. We gathered the first day onboard to book specialty restaurants and all were booked for the entire cruise, thus a damper on our celebration. They had purchased the specialty package and our package included the specialty dining as a bonus. Neither of us was able to experience specialty dining. The ship was packed shoulder to shoulder with people. Either we couldn't get in to see complimentary entertainment or there was standing room only. What we stood for night after night was good, but would have loved to sit and relax and enjoy the show. Disappointed in tour. We see more wildlife in our backyard. Snorkeling in the area of the second largest barrier reef was a disappointment when they snorkeled off the beach and there was not much to see. Shore excursions overpriced, Spa services overpriced and photos way more than we've paid on other cruise lines. Food at buffet and regular dining rooms was good, but my husband was disappointed they did away with lobster night. Pool area was wall to wall people when at sea and not pleasant. Room was very nice and staff was friendly and helpful. Main show, "Million Dollar Quartet" was excellent and performers were extremely talented. I felt they pushed buying at every turn and charging extra for every little thing. Very little is "included" in your price anymore. I'm more apt to book with an inland tour operator where all is inclusive and see more of the country, its people and culture. That way you don't have sticker shock at the end of your vacation.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin very comfortable, clean and quiet. Bed was roomy and freshly made up daily. Staff accommodating and friendly...always smiling and happy. Balcony narrow and small. Room for two chairs sitting knee to knee, but ok for two people to sit out.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

Took a rafting tour through jungle/rainforest. Guides were not very knowledgeable. They combined those on the rafting tour with the tubing tour and was a lot of people. Never even saw a bird, much less any wildlife. Not much to see.

Roatan

Ventured outside of compound and found more authentic people/shops etc. Island is beautiful, but cruise lines have same things in each port unless you travel inland.

Cozumel

Knew the area since we've been there several times. Took taxi's inland and shopped the original shopping district and enjoyed lunch outdoors.
