We have been on 8 cruises now - this one with Norwegian, 5 with Royal Caribbean, and 2 with Carnival. Overall this one was okay, but not great. For one thing, they charge for a lot of things. We had $200 of on-board credit, but that was used up quickly. We didn't go to one of the shows because they charge for it. Having been on Oasis of the Seas with Royal Caribbean we have seen some of the best shows possible FOR FREE! Is this going to become the new "normal"? I hope not. It makes it hard to figure out in advance what is a good deal if they are going to charge for shows. They also charge for room service (although not the breakfast if you use the card that you hang on your door the night before).

The ship looks like it is ready to be refurbished. We were surprised to learn it was just built in 2014 - it definitely looks older.

Staff were extremely nice (we have always enjoyed staff on all of our cruises), but they were hurried and weren't thorough in their jobs. Dining staff were the most hurried - I had trouble getting a drink. One night we didn't even get our water refilled during the whole meal. I learned to order coffee with dessert EARLY!

Cabin Review

Large Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B6

Cabin was average. The usual tight quarters. It was in generally good repair (although our sink stopper disappeared after 5 days - not sure what the room steward did with it). The balcony was nice.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

We enjoyed a quiet day here. We didn't book any activities, but enjoyed sitting at the beach and seeing the pool (it was chilly when we were there, so we didn't swim). It is a beautiful place.
