Whilst my wife and I really enjoyed the cruise (destinations, ship service and restaurants), you quickly learn that you, as a first timer on Princess, don't know all the perks and idiosyncrasies. Mainly location, location, location. We booked an interior stateroom and whilst it was very nice, it was really small (146 square feet) Joining the two beds to form one required access via the end of the bed only!! (our mistake I guess). There are however many great staterooms (oceanview and balconies) at the rear(aft). Alas for the love of money they seem to be booked to eternity by the many repeat guests (in the know). Please advise if you have nice advice. Overall the cruise was wonderful. The entertainment was first class The rules on board the ship were relaxed. The food in the restaurants was varied and top quality. The age groups on board were about our age (60 and up). Will definitely sail with Princess again (but gee it would be nice in one of the Holy Grail staterooms)

Please tell the booking agents that the twin beds shouldn't be available for joining together.
