We wanted to experience a New Years eve doing something different and out of the ordinary. The Daimond Princess was the only ship departing Auckland on the 31st December.

Been first time cruisers we thoroughly enjoyed our cruising experience, we found all the staff friendly and helpful.

Yes it was NZ and Australia school holidays but found the children didn't worry us at all. The ship was that big there was plenty of room for everyone. There were a couple of swimming areas for adults which we found sufficient enough.

Cabin BB

Could of been slightly bigger for accomodation up to 4 people.

But we managed.

Was serviced daily up to a great standard.
