Good variety of restaurants, clean ship. Exceptional staff and nice ports of call. If you enjoyba laid back atmosphere this is the ship for you. Unlike some of the larger vessels such as the Getaway, you are not overcrowded or easily lost. We had a mini suite, a great size for two people but enough for more. A curtain can be drawn between the sofa/bed to provide a modicum of privacy. It can help deflect light if one is sleeping and the other prefers to read or watch TV. Our room steward was the best out of 5 previous cruises. Our cabin was well kept and he was willing to help us with extra coffee or make a variety of fun animals, each better than the day before. Jamaica was great no hassles with hawkers or tricksters as sone other Jamaica ports. In Bonaire we visited Mr. Salty, a wealth of information in sea salt production. Bonaire does not have industry, salt is the only export. His prices are reasonable, stop in and visit if you get the chance.

We absolutely loved this ship, large enough to offer dining and entertainment but small enough to learn what was where with ease. The lack of slides meant no so many children, as seniors this was a plus for us. Our cabin was a nice upgrade from balcony. Some have commented about noise from deck 12 where most of the action is day or might. We did not find the noise too distracting and left our balcony door open day and night. The only negative comment I could make would be the raffle tickets for a free cruise they offer prior to performances. it seems like a pretty good deal. What they don't mention is that you must be present at the bingo session on the last day of the cruise in order to win. Bingo starts at $29.00 for 3 games. The assistant cruise director yaked and yaked until you were ready to scream. Although you didn't have to actually play you had to sit through 2 games before the drew the winning ticket, all together about an hour. If you knew this in advance you could wait half an hour then stand at the back of the room. All in all. We had a great time. We found the ports of call were fine, including Jamaica. Worth checking out, we loved it.

Out of 5 NCL cruises our steward, Gerald, was by far the very best. Our every request was granted. He was available with a quick phone call and was willing to assist us at any time.
