I was looking to bump up to Diamond status before my upcoming transatlantic. I picked this cruise for a variety of reasons, including that it fit my personal schedule.
Embarkation was rough, but only because the ship was delayed getting into port due to fog. It resulted in a few hours of waiting, both inside and outside the port facility.
The dining room food was excellent. The experience takes a hit because I ate every meal alone. Liberty of the Seas does not seem to provide shared group tables, instead focusing on couples dining. As a single traveler, this meant no dinner conversation. The service, both in the dining room and getting seated was uneven. I eventually learned to go late in order to avoid a long wait for a table. Waiters were mixed, some not asking for drink orders, some forgetting to bring butter or mint jelly to the table until asked. I received the incorrect main course once.
Standard inside stateroom. The room was cold, and it took several days with the thermostat at high to warm it up to my needs. I requested and received an extra blanket, which was useful at night to keep me warm.
