To be honest, we took this cruise to get the last 7 days of sailing to achieve Diamond member status in the Crown and Anchor Society. Departing from Tampa was convenient and allowed us to visit family members nearby. The mission was to rest and relax and we achieved it! We had not been to Belize or Costa Maya before and thought it would be fun to see different western Caribbean ports. Weather preempted our tendering into Grand Cayman where we were scheduled for a shore excursion. RCCL promptly refunded not only the fee for the tour but also the port fees and taxes! Cozumel was definitely THE BEST shopping port on our itinerary. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and created a very pleasant atmosphere. Cruise singers and dancers were very good, but the mediocre "canned" shows didn't do them justice. Sound mixing was poor as the orchestration drowned out the singing. Other on board bands/talent were good and the specialty acts (comedians & hypnotist) were the best! Time to come up with some new gameshow ideas... Food was okay but "over sauced". However, fresh salad greens in the Windjammer (buffet) and overall smaller portion sizes in the dining room were greatly appreciated! We don't plan on doing this itinerary again but only because we've done variations of it before. Royal Caribbean is still our go to cruise line!

Cabin Review

Panoramic Ocean View Stateroom

Cabin F

Bed was more comfortable after our stateroom attendant placed a 2nd "topper" on our bed. Remodel of the bathroom (2012) created more and secured storage space for toiletries. Vessel sink is stylish but made it harder to rinse out bathing suits and the like. All other cabin storage appeared the same.
