Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico: Didn’t have an excursion scheduled for this port. I truly wish I would have scheduled (in time) the whale watching that was sold out. We decided to debark and spend a little time walking around the dock area, have a few beers, purchase a few nick knacks and enjoy people watching.

Puerto Quetzal (Antigua)

Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala: This was another port we chose not to take an excursion. Debarked and stayed in the compound. There was live music, multiple bars, lots of trinkets and wifi if you purchased enough food and drinks. Early back on board for pool and ice cream.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Grand Cayman: Today is the only beach day we had on this cruise and was so anxious to get to the beach. We grabbed a cab at the port after tendering in and went to Royal Palms Grand Cayman where we booked a private cabana next to the pool. It was a special place, clean pool, swim up and walk up bars, DJ playing music, showers, clean restrooms, access to beach, great food and drinks. Little pricy over all but what isn’t in Grand Cayman.
