This was our first Princess cruise. We took this cruise to get a taste of the Hawaiian Islands. Transported to cruise port from airport by Princess in a bus. This went well . We were later getting on the ship, so the embarkation went quickly. Cabin was ready when we boarded. We took our carry ons with us so we could change when we boarded. We went to the Buffet the first night as we were tired from travelling. We found the food excellent with few problems with line ups. The weather was cool and the sea rougher the first few days. The first night was not restful as there was an emergency medical helicopter evacuation late. Things improved after the first couple of days. We chose the open dining option and usually ate around 6 pm. Rarely were there any lineups . The dining selection was good and service was usually prompt. there was one disturbing incident when a member of our dining party was served coffee in a cup hot enough to blister her finger. I did not realize coffee cups were put into a warmer. Please be careful with coffee cups. When we arrived in Hilo we shared a rental car to tour the island. Rental was 70. Ended up taking a taxi to and from the airport for the Rental as the shuttles were busy and sparse. 20 each way. Travelled to the volcanic park checked out lava tunnel and the lava flow to the coast. Rainbow falls was pretty but not dramatic. Next stop Honolulu. We did the NE island tour with the ship. It was interesting. Next Kauai where we took the open bus tour from the shopping mall . Caught the early 10.30 ride. Driver gave a good narration. Walked across the street from the mall , checked out the Hotels, walked to the pier then shuttled back from the mall to the ship. Maui was the last stop , hot and humid. Shopped and took the city bus along the coast . Stopped at the Hotels along the coast and checked out the lavish tropical gardens. 5 days at sea , just relaxed and took in the entertainment. Ensenada was a shopping stop , walked to the shopping area for the exercise, but it is a long walk. The worst part was the line up to board the ship since the brought 3 or 4 buses back at same time. Back to LA . Disembarkation and transport to the airport was well organized. Overall good trip and would do Princess again.

No problem with motion on this deck and we were impressed with the large number of hangers in the closet. Room was cleaned quickly and staff was friendly.
