Having enjoyed a superb cruise on Celebrity Eclipse 4 years ago, we were expecting a similar experience on Celebrity Constellation. Unfortunately, this wasn't to be.

Constellation is tired in a lot of places and although the staff work extremely hard, the shortcomings are evident.

Our cabin - Whilst beautifully clean, courtesy of Arvin, we wish we hadn't paid the extra for an upgrade to Aquaclass. For us personally, it wasn't worth the extra money. The daily canapes were rather unappealing to say the least! The bed was only a king size bed and not a Superking/Queen as all other cruises we have been on. The plug hole of the basin in the shower room had turned green where the chrome had worn away over the years, and we also experienced a towel with a huge hole in it which should have been spotted by someone and not returned to any cabin, together with a leaking shower door which meant we stepped out onto a wet mat every time.
