Barcelona to The Canaries and back.

"Truth in Advertising" confession. I'm a big fan of NCL and also a fan of smaller ships.

The Spirit and The Canaries itinerary were wonderful. Tho the itinerary had some weather glitches, I am about to say that the Spirit is my favourite NCL ship so far (and it is my fifth one. Others include the Sun, the Star, the Jade, and the Epic.)

Cabin Review

Oceanview Picture Window

Cabin OA

Having had an oceanview previously, I had anticipated doing the same thing with the beds that I had done on my last oceanview: separating them so I could have all the floor space concentrated in the middle. But it was't necessary. I kept the beds together for a great sleeping experience. The cabin was larger than on the Star. It slept up to 4 and, as a single traveller, I had plenty of space for moving around and more than enough for storage.

The cabin has the same bathroom arrangement as what I had on the Star: a 3-compartment bathroom: toilet, sink area, and large shower. (larger than the Sun)

This cabin is on a short hallway and close to the lifts and stairs. With no cabins across the hall (and no service doors either), I never heard anyone in the hallway.

One deck up and a two-minute walk from the atrium.

Definitely would choose this again.
