Before i boarded, i wasn't that excited as i've read many reviews on the lack of activities. There were many key events on my 8 day journey to Hobart and Adelaide. As most Australians, we would believe that travelling to such areas would be terribly boring. During these 8 days, it wasn't just the scenic views of travelling to different states but it was the experience gained on the cruise itself. My family and i have encountered beautiful staff and cruisers that made this an enjoyable experience.
Lets break it down to entertainment. The Royal Theatre and 270 room alternate in the most fascinating and unique shows that includes talented musicians, dancers and singers. Along with this, we could experience some comedy shows and late night trivial and music contests/game shows. Every night, my family and i would be introduced to these events and this would never have failed to impress us. These shows usually end around 11pm but that just brings the start to the casino, and the night club. For kids, theres the arcade which allows children to roam around till 1am. This facility is as safe as it gets with staff around 24/7. Theres table tennis, bumper cars, sometimes trivial games, xbox games and dodge ball/basketball.
Food. Now, my favourite part of this cruise. The Windjammer was the best buffet ive ever been. Staff is great and the organisation should be incredibly considered. They are always on time, serving finest food from ranging cuisines of asian, middle eastern, european... with burgers and fish and chips to die for. Theres free hot dogs on the arcade level and free pizza thats open till 3am. Now these pizzas are serve the best pepperoni but the menu changes daily from seafood to crowds favourite of hawaiian.
