From embarkation to disembarking this cruise experience was less than satisfactory. I had traveled on carnival once before and was not impressed and now will not travel on them again. Embarkation was extremely confusing and we waited over 2 hours upon arrival at the port at 11pm. We also waited on disembarkation from 8:30 to 10am before we were able to debark even though we had a low number. The ship itself was not very clean and lacked purell stations where they should be ie: outside bathrooms, by the casino and at each restaurant entrance. Activities were geared to a younger crowd which makes sense for Carnival though on sea days they could have included more of a variety of things to do. The muster drill was a muster mess.....they did not have an efficient process of checking people in nor were the directions for stations clear. Dining room service was fairly good but the food was not good. I had roast chicken that was so dry I could not get my knife through it...lobster that was not cooked entirely the best part was the Chocolate melting cake....I had it at every meal. Once I went to get a cookie at the buffet at 3:25pm, they were sitting there and when I reached for it I was told they were closed and I could not take one...really??? I liked the ports as I had been to them before and the excursions were good and reasonable. I am 60+ and traveled with my daughter of 30 and we both felt this was not a cruiseline we would go on again. It is possible since this is geared toward kids and families that we just made a bad choice and you get what you pay for...poor quality, Also the cruise director was very active and had a great personality.....the singers and dancers were terrible....could not sing and hurt my ears.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4C

On deck 9 Interior cabin. I had never stayed in an interior cabin before and though it was small and dark it was quiet and I slept very well. We were located near the pool and elevators which was great and since we did not stay in the room that much it was adequate.

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

Cabo is a great port and I have visited it many times. The biggest drawback on this cruise was the tender process. Since I had been there before I knew exactly where to go and what to do.....those individuals that did not had issues with the timing as the tender process was so bad it shortened the time they had in port and limited what they could do. It would be good if they did an overnight at this port and knock off one of the sea days.
