Our first Viking ocean cruise. The ship is beautiful, very clean and lots of public areas, just lacking outdoor space. Chairs around the pool filled up by 8 am and no one monitors for saved chairs so many sat vacant for hours, frustrating. There are no deck chairs on deck 2 except in the back of the ship in the shade.

We had so weather related issues that impacted our overall opinion. We could not get in to Cozumel due to weather. We did not get any kind of compensation. I think it is customary to at least get an on board credit for port charges. Then we had large swells and wind on our last day at sea so the pools were drained, roof closed and we were 3 hours late getting in to port that effected everyone's air travel.

We found the entertainment to be almost non exsistent. And experienced long wait times for a waiter once seated in main dining room. Manfreds speciality restaurant was very good.

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe veranda

The bathroom in cabin was the best we have experienced. Large shower, large sink and drawers on each side for storage. Room itself a little tight, very little room at end of bed that you have to walk by 20 times a day to get to balcony or chairs and desk.
