After the hurricanes, there were many good deals out there as all the cruise lines were desperate to get people back on the ships. We did not realize that this itinerary (southern Caribbean ) was a revamped one due to port closures. Many people we spoke to had booked the original itinerary but were very pleased with this substitution. Being loyal to Norwegian and preferring smaller ships we booked.

We gave ourselves a week to drive to Tampa from Toronto. Got a chance to see some historical and natural parts of Florida before the cruise. It was cold when we left.

Side note, we used "The Parking Doctor" for parking at the cruise terminal. Booked it on line and paid just 8 dollars a day. They drop at the terminal and pick you up afterwards. We used the once before and have been more than satisfied with the service. After the cruise we spoke to other repeat customers who sear by the Parking Doctor.

We always book an inside cabin so not much to say about that really. Very comfortable bed, good shower and friendly steward.
