We have cruised with carnival since 2011 and have usually had very good service with no complaints until now. It seems that carnival is changing things to make more money for them with less options for us. Slowly we have seen things change, first was no more robes in the rooms, on this cruise all of the TV stations had been changes. There are 25 channels, 16 of those are for carnival to try to sell you excursions or future cruises, 3 are cnn, the only news was of Donald Trump, HLN from California, 3 cartoon channels, and 3 old movie channels that plays the same movies over and over. Where are the channels from ABC, CBS, or NBC? We don't even ask for all, just one to get news from the southern US where most of us are from. Also the room service has changed, now to order room service after 10pm your only option is to order something that you have to pay for, you can't just order a sandwich and chips, also more money for carnival. When I went down to guest services the people in line at the diamond and platinum line were red and blue cards and I had to wait behind them(we are platinum) carnival will never say anything to them. Also , calling diamond and platinum to disembark first is a joke, red, blue, and gold cards come thru the back door of the restaurant where there is no carnival employee to stop them. These were not suite, or faster to the fun guest.
