This was our first Viking Ocean cruise after 5 Viking River cruises, everything about the Viking Star is first class, with 900 people on the boat you never feel crowded, there are plenty of spots on the boat to relax. The food in the two specialty restaurants was outstanding, we ate at them 3 nights, 3 times in The Restaurant and ate once at the World Cafe. The World Cafe is a buffet style restaurant and had unlimited Sushi the night I ate there and it was first class too, Viking upgraded us from a level 3 room to a level 6 room a week before our cruise and the room was big and had plenty of space for all our clothes and shopping purchases.

At all the ports Viking offered a free shuttle into town and a return ride also which was nice

It was nice to get off the ship in the morning, do our tours and have free time then come back to the boat , have lunch and relax by the indoor pool. We even used the outdoor pool in Barcelona, it was heated and using the outdoor spa pool too, very relaxing after a long flight and walking around Barcelona
