We booked air and transfers to and from the ship with Princess. The whole process was wonderful. The ship is older and retrofitted for wheelchairs and walkers, of which there were many on this itinerary. The naturalist and the Hawaiian Ambassadors were wonderful, knowledgeable, and thoroughly enjoyed sharing their life on the islands with us. The service on the Lido deck was outstanding. We never had to wait for someone to come to take our drink orders or clean up our dishes. The waiters were very happy to be there and to help us in any way they could. The cabins were nice but could use some comfortable chairs or a sofa for relaxation and reading. We ate in the MDR and the service was excellent and the menu was good and varied. Embarkation was very good until we entered the ship. The line there was atrociously long because they only had one person taking pictures for our sea pass cards. Disembarkation was very fast once they got clearance from the feds. Much of the major entertainment was conducted in the Vista Lounge which did not hold any where as many people as wished to attend. I would have liked to have gone to a lot of the entertainment held in the Piazza and to have eating in the International Cafe but there was very little seating there.

Nice older ship and great crew
