Locations visited and opportunity to spend a few extra days in Rome.

This was our first ocean cruise on Viking and they did not disappoint. We took several tours in each port and all were well planned and the tour guides and sites visited were fantastic. The tour guides all spoke excellent English, were easy going and provided a wonderful experience. There was adequate time during each tour to spend on our own exploring.

The food was all excellent. I had several exquisite meals in the main restaurant, as well as in the speciality restaurants. The morning buffet had an excellent variety in choices and all the food was first rate and fresh.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

Cabin DV6

Veranda cabin. The bed was wonderful very comfortable. The cabin was spacious for a ship and the amenities were excellent. We especially enjoyed the small refrigerator, the drinks being replenished daily, and the opportunity to keep something cold we had purchased. The best though, was the heated floor in the bathroom. Such a treat. Room service was excellent as on all Viking cruises.

Port Reviews

Monaco (Monte Carlo)

Lovely walk and especially enjoyed visiting the casino.
