This was out first cruise on Norwegian. We have mostly cruise with Carnival in the past so I was curious to see how this stacked up. We were pleasantly surprised with this ship. It took us some time to figure out the layout of the ship, but once we did, it was easy to navigate. It was not as crowded as I thought it would be but cruising in January will do that. We loved the bars and restaurants. We were a little unfamiliar with how to book shows. We didn't do any of them because they were sold out and we didn't feel like waiting in the stand by line. No big deal....we found other things to do. My kids ages 12, 9, 7 were with us on this cruise. My younger 2 kids LOVED the kids area and always wanted to go. My older son wanted to go to the teen club, but he wasn't 13 yet so he would have been with the younger kids and didn't want to do that. He played basketball a lot and hung by the pool. Speaking of the pool, they were nice. Nothing fancy. Enough seating. Slides were fun. The service on board was amazing. Everyone we encountered were very friendly. We are booked on the Getaway in March and can't wait. We will definitely be sailing with NCL again. We book all of our shore excursions through outside vendors and they were all perfect!! So much cheaper.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BF

The stateroom was spacious. There were 2 adults and 2 kids in this room. There was plenty of storage for all of us to use for 7 days. The counter space was a bit cramped though. There were 3 outlets on the desk area and usb charges on each side of the bed. Perfect for charging our devices. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The bathroom was nice and plenty of room for us. Our only complaint with this room was at night, with the boat rocking, there was a squeaking noise in the wall/ceiling. Our fix for this was to sleep with the balcony door open.
