This was only my second cruise, but I must say I was unimpressed with the Norwegian Jade, overall. There was nothing "fancy" about the ship, no impressionable "I must take a picture here" spots anywhere. Day one, which was the best weather, the pool area was closed because they were unloading equipment from the prior cruise, very disappointing.

The activities were lacking. The "white party", consisted of staff dancing on the dance floor with guests for about 1 hour- nothing else different from every other night in the lounge- no special drinks, no food, no games, prizes.

There were 2 nights of a comedy show (same show) and one night a Magic show, just one performance. I saw one game played at the pool on one day, but nothing else besides a DJ. The Karaoke on the last night was the best entertainment, but the wait for a drink at the bar was 15 minutes because they only had 2 bartenders working. Read more
