Azura Cruise Review by Sandy12345
- Sail Date: January 2018
- Destination: Caribbean
- Cabin Type: Balcony Stateroom
The Caribbean islands we visited were amazing, the heat was lovely and I enjoyed lots of days of warm sandy white beaches, this holiday really was incredible and exceeded all of my expectations.
All of the staff were friendly and said hello to you with a warm smile, and the reception desk were always there to help with any problem, there really isn't one thing I could say negatively about sailing on the Azura, only that I didn't want to leave as it was just totally fabulous.
After three days on board ship we booked again to do the exact same trip next year and we can't wait to do it all again.
We did 4 excursions and the rest of the time we went to the beach or to the local town on the island we were on.
St Kitts we went on the railway and it was fabulous with lots of singing and the scenery was fabulous.
Barbados we went on the submarine in the morning and its something we will do again as it was just incredible watching all the fish.
Amber Cove we went on a Tradition & Flavours Excursion which was really good
St Lucia we did a private tour with Cosal Tours,it was a seven hour tour and was totally fabulous including a mud bath and waterfall and lots of island food.
It was enjoyable in between excursions having lots of time on different beaches and wandering the local towns.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)We did the traditions & flavours tour with P & O, and it was really good, unfortunately there wasn't much growing on the plantation that we visited as it was the wrong time of the year but it was a lovely place to look around, it included lunch which was delicious.View All 727 Amber Cove (Puerto Plata) Cruise Port Reviews

St. LuciaThis was such an amazing tour, we drove up to a volcano, had a mudbath, washed off in a waterfall, had lots of food and there was plenty to drink, went on a speedboat to a beach, saw lots of beautiful views, it was a jam packed tour that lasted nearly seven hours and it was amazing, our tour guide was incredible, I would highly recomend this tour.View All 13,312 St. Lucia Cruise Port Reviews

St. VincentWe walked to the botanical gardens on a very hot day uphill, if I were to go again I would take a taxi, the gardens were nice and it took about an hour to walk around them, on the way back we walked through the town which seemed very poor, the heat on this particular day was really hot so we went back to the ship earlier than we normally would, I think I would take an excursion on this island if I were to go back again.View All 112 St. Vincent Cruise Port Reviews
