We chose this cruise for a couple of different reasons. One, we liked the islands they were to visit prior to the change in the itinerary. Two, we have sailed with Celebrity three other times, and were very happy with the trips. We have never sailed on a solstice class with Celebrity. The ship was beautiful. Our stateroom was quite comfortable, with a larger than normal balcony. That was the best part. Now the not so good part. We were quite appalled at how unbelievable high the prices were for most of the shore excursions! Typically on our other 14 cruises we would book several excursions. Not this time. Only one was booked due to these outrageous prices. We also thought the menu wasn't really that great. We have experienced better on other cruise lines. One of the nights I had ordered a steak. I ordered it medium rare. Needless to say I could've strapped it right on my foot and used it for a shoe! It seemed like most of the time, the buffet had a much better selection. As hard as we tried, we could never get our waiter to loosen up a little and have some fun with us. Which we normally prefer. Makes going to dinner that much more fun. It just seemed to us that a lot of the little things were missing on this trip. I'm not sure if I would actually book another trip on Celebrity again. The trip was very average. Probably ideal for a first timer.

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

Our cabin was very nice. Quite roomy with a larger than normal balcony. Having contracted the Norovirus on this trip, I spent a lot of time out there! Bed was very comfortable. The shower was larger than normal, witch I really liked.
