10 of us: family, friends and friends of friends cruised together. The social aspects of the cruise were definitely a highlight. We had dinner together; we took some local tours together; we planned some shore excursions together. And we went off on our own to pursue our own interests. Travelling with compatible people really makes a difference.

My friend and I stayed on the Concierge deck and having her available to solve our problems was extremely helpful.

I celebrated my birthday during the cruise. The crew made a big fuss over me. One senior crew member shared the same birthdate and he sent additional champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to my suite.

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

Not sure if I picked the correct concierge class but it was a delight. I did not feel claustrophobic - thanks to the balcony. We had enough room to store stuff but just had to remember where we had stored it.
