We chose this cruise as an introduction to Viking as a cruise provider. We were delighted and would recommend Viking (we already have) to anyone as a cruise line, The ship is beautifully designed with many areas where you can spend some quiet time and well as others meant for activities and socializing (your choice). We also chose this trip because the ship holds a smaller number of passengers. This allows you to meet new people and get to know them. We have no desire to cruise with 3000 or 4000 other passengers.

The food service provided allowed convenient times and styles to choose from so you can dine when and where you like. We never experienced any wait times at the restarurants nor any feelings of being crowded in. The inclusive beverage service is excellent.

The cruising itself was smooth and seemed effortless. We enjoyed the stops in Boston, and the stops in Canada (new places for us)

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe Veranda

At first we felt the storage allowed was a bit small. We found ourselves leaving clothes and

things on the chairs and coffee table. But, we realize that a lot of things have to be built in

in order to ensure safety. Maybe we also brought along too much stuff (this was our first

ocean cruise with Viking). We soon learned to use the storage cabinets in the bathroom for

clothing as well. All in all, we managed.
