My wife and I sailed on the Carnival Vista in February 2017, so I'm just getting this review in before the 1 year cut off. It was our 5th cruise overall (Valor, Inspiration, Dream, and Breeze previously).

Embarkation was smooth and very quick. We flew into Miami International Airport and after picking up our luggage, we headed over to the Carnival desk at the airport for easy check-in. We took a taxi to Port Miami, which is much less expensive than taking the Carnival shuttle. Once at the port, we handed off our luggage and went into the terminal where we waited about 20 minutes before we were called upon for boarding. We were on the ship by 11:30am.
