It was to be our second Celebrity cruise; the first being on the Reflection a year ago. We loved the Celebrity experience and despite being Platinum on another line, we decided to jump ship to Celebrity. The amenities, food, service, decor, other passengers, activities, etc. really sold us on Celebrity.

We knew going into our cruise on the Summit that some things would be different due to the ship layout, age, etc. We knew the Persian gardens and thermal suite would be smaller and there would be fewer specialty restaurants and smaller cabins, balconies etc. We were not expecting the tremendous drop in quality of service that we experienced between the Reflection and the Summit.

Check in in San Juan was breeze and we were on the ship in no time. Big win there. The cabin wasn't ready yet and that's ok.. expected since we were on the ship at lunch.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A1

Cabin was small and tired. Shower wasn't very clean, also very small, water ran everywhere all the time. Balcony wasn't clean at first (cabin steward resolved that).
