We really like the ocean crossings and traveled once before on Viking. This cruise was as wonderful as the first. Embarkation went seamlessly and we were allowed into our cabins a bit early. Cabin was roomy and comfortable. All dining venues are really good on board Viking. We enjoyed Manfredi's and ate there a few times; we skipped the Chef's Table after eating there once on a prior cruise -- just don't like not being able to have a choice of things. The main dining room is definately as good as the specialty dining. The movies in the room were good and we enjoyed the facilities on board. Service is outstanding -- the entire crew really goes above and beyond. Our one real disappointment was the transportation following disembarkation in Florida. We arranged with Viking for a private car to take us to the airport. This was prepaid and not cheap. We followed instructions from two different Viking reps inside the cruise terminal for finding the car only to discover that there was no car, and the representatives outside the cruise terminal had no idea what we were talking about or where to find this car. Of course, you cannot go back inside the terminal to get a Viking person. After literally an hour (seriously, an hour -- we were afraid of missing our plane!), finally a Viking person seemed to find that someone had indeed ordered a car. He called it and 30 minutes later it appeared. Will NEVER use Viking transport again -- we'll take cabs or call an Uber.
The cabin was roomy -- loved the lighted makeup mirror. Bed was king and comfortable. The bathroom was also large for a cruise ship -- plenty of room in the shower with a bench for "stuff". Great room stewards -- best on any of our cruises.
