Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

We have cruised out of Galveston a number of times, so exploring our departure city wasn't applicable. We chose The Liberty of the Seas because we are big Celebrity, Royal Caribbean fans. The ship is lovely, but too big for my taste. Our cabin had a great balcony, but the cabin itself was a little worn, and it is obvious that it's time for Liberty to be refurbished. Our cabin Stewardess was perfect, so we have no complaints about our cabin service.

One of our favorite meals onboard is Lamb. When they served the Lamb Shank, I couldn't cut it, and our waiter came over and tried to slice it for me. I was offered another entree. the food was not up to Royal Caribbean quality.

We had a large group of our family including 11 month old twin baby boys, and our table service was the best ever. Our head waiter, Jesus Poserio and his assistant, Miroslav Dordevic are being mentioned because they were perfect. They remembered our names, saw to our needs and made our dining experience better than any other cruise, and we have been on a number of them. They made the lack of originality of the menu palatable.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

The cabin needs to be refurbished. It is nice, but worn. The bed was hard, and even putting a topper on it didn't help it that much. The cabin at one time was beautiful, but it is worn, and needs to be upgraded. It was amazing in that there was storage all over it. Well designed.

Port Reviews

Galveston

We all met at the hotel before going to the Port. It was easy for us to get registered and on the ship together. the people signing us in were great and very welcoming.

Falmouth

We got off the ship and shopped in the port area. We are not comfortable going to Jamaica anymore. The crime and poverty makes it dangerous.
