Selected because we had not been to any of the locations except for St. Kitts, which was a substitute for Venezuela. We had taken one Viking cruise previously and that was the river cruise from Prague to Paris. While we LOVED the river cruise, it was more about the excursions and the fantastic job the guides did. The ship was great, the meals were great as was the crew. Europe is full of history and antiquity.

The excursions on our Caribbean cruise were rather primitive in contrast to historic Europe. While we enjoyed experiencing the local flavor, it was nothing in comparison to our European trip. However, the ship was a fantastic experience! This included the nightly entertainment and the facilities. We saw every show and got to know who our favorites were. A tremendous Beatles review and a phenomenal Abba concert. The restaurants were superb and the facilities (gym, spa, sauna, steam room, and ice palace) were over the top. I used the sauna and ice palace on 4 different occasions. The director of activities on the ship was a delightful individual and kept us in stitches.

We had previously taken two cruises with Celebrity. Food was mediocre, service was ok, and there were too many people on board. The Viking Sea was a perfect size and handled very well. We did the river cruise with my sister and husband and they joined us on the Caribbean cruise, along with my daughter and husband. Viking is the only way to cruise. We are having a difficult time deciding on our next voyage. Thank you, Viking! You're the best!

Cabin Review

Cabin Deluxe veranda

This room was comparable to our river cabin, although the river cabin was slightly larger. We loved going out on the veranda to watch the sunsets. I especially loved the heated bathroom floors and my husband liked having the mini-bar for those late night snacks. fs The TV was great and the wi-fi was perfect.
