We drove to the port and parked with Parking Doctors for $42 for 4 days. The shuttle provided by the company took us to port, which was 2 minutes away. We arrived to the port around 1pm, the lines were long, even for the priority boarding section, but they were moving faster than we have expected, maybe took 30 mins. Buffet wasn't crowded at all on the embarkation day; that was a pleasant surprise. On sea days the buffet was crowded since the weather was bad and no activities on the ship provided during the day except for tons of seminars. The main pool was open but it was too cold to swim and they drained the pool in the solarium for some unknown reason and everyone was trying to get a lounge chair in the solarium due to winds outside. It was a mess. Not sure why they did that, it operated on all other days just fine.

Entertainment was lacking. They did have different bands playing at the different venues, but other than that, it was boring. Only one show during the night and it was at 715, while the early seating dinner was still serving dessert. So if you wanted to watch the show, you had to skip a dessert or eat very fast. Why not do 2 shows like other ships do? There was only 1 comedy show during a 4 day cruise; he was very good. Love and Marriage show was boring too; that's usually our favorite show on a ship. But it all depends on the couples and of course the cruise director, which to be honest wasn't charismatic at all, we've had way better cruise directors than him. That's unfortunate, because your cruise experience depends on your cruise director a lot.

We had 2 sea days. On the first sea day we had only one pool activity - belly flop competition and it was a hit, so many people watched it and participated. And second sea day had NOTHING. Royal Caribbean needs to take some hints from Carnival and entertain guess more, I didn't come on a cruise just to sit around and do nothing; I came to have a good time, participate in as many activities as I can, watch people play, etc.

Cabin Review

Room was specious with lots of closet space, beds were very hard and pillows were flat, almost non existing.
