This cruise and itinerary was highly recommended by a good friend and travel agent. We went with friends of 50 years and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed it. We added the two night pre-cruise and the accommodations were very good. We all enjoyed the extra days in Barcelona. The embarkation and disembarkation went quite smoothly. The ship was well appointed, the service and cabins were great along with the several dining options. The entertainment and activities were very good and just enough without going over the top. The shore excursions were all great and the ports of call good with the exception of the last one in Rome which was too short.

We all really liked the cabins, large closets along with the good size bathrooms, shower and the heated floors. Nice, too that all the cabins have balconies.

We have been on 10 cruises with 7 different cruise lines and Viking is by far the best with the exception of one other that was equal. We have been on one river cruise with Viking, also and I would highly recommend both the ocean and river with Viking.
