Sail Date: Dec 2017

This was our first Viking ocean cruise but won't be our last! The ship was exquisite. We were impressed with the ship's stability in rough water, the smoothest we've ever been on. It never felt like we had over 900 fellow passengers. The décor and furnishings were so nice that I want them in my own home, especially the bathroom with its nonslippery tile and heated floor. Wish I could rate the service even higher, as it was excellent. We had a slight dining mishap that we weren't upset enough by to even mention, but the staff noticed and went out of their way to make it right. The included shore excursions were well organized and informative. The inclusion of those, Wi-Fi, and wine and beer made this cruise a good value for us. Be sure to look for the trolls when in the glass-backed elevators! We adopted two gnomes from the gift shop, which has a nice selection of items. This was my favorite cruise yet!

Cabin Review

Cabin Penthouse veranda

We loved our penthouse veranda cabin, which gave us extra storage and walking-around space. The bathroom was exquisite, from the showerhead to the floor tile and especially the heated floor.
