We chose the cruise because of the small ship, fewer passengers, no kids and no casinos. And I wanted to go to Greece and the Mediterranean. Our cabin was amazing and included every possible need we could have. It was designed with all our needs in mind. We loved having restuarants to order off the menu. I did not want a cruise with buffets and food in my face all day long. The tours were very interesting, well-paced with very well-informed tour guides who all spoke perfect English, which was a concern for me as I have an incredibly difficult time understanding accents. No problem with any of the guides. The decor of the ship was beautiful, airy and welcoming. It felt much more like a hotel than a ship. The walkways were not narrow and I had no sense of clostraphobia like I would have expected on a ship. We were amazed at how well organized everything was to the last detail. Having a personal tour of our room by our pursor/maid - Precious was so welcoming. She was always available and took care of every request promptly. We just loved her. What a sweetheart! The tours were so well organized and at no time did we ever feel like there was a crowd on the ship. It was so smooth. Having the talks each day about the next day's port was most helpful in having some context for the tour and where we were going. And the staff was beyond exceptional. They all were so excited for us; you would have thought it was their vacation! We appreciated the staff send-off each day and the amazing welcome parties we had upon return from the tours. What a hoot! Dancing, singing, champaign. Everything was truly beyond what we expected and we can't wait until we have enough saved for our next Viking trip. We'll be back!
