We chose this ship this time for a quick getaway close to home for a 5 night cruise. We have been cruising for many years and on many cruise lines. We are Diamond members on RCCL. We enjoyed the Diamond lounge for morning coffee and drinks and hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour. We really enjoyed the smaller ship ,that was the common size during years of cruising. We were on the Allure in August 2017. A beautiful ship with many venues and fabulous entertainment although there were 6,000 passengers ,while the Vision has around 2,200 passengers. It was nice with fewer people, and not so much commotion everywhere you went. We did love the Allure but it was a nice change .All of the crew could not have been nicer, what a truly friendly ship! I will tell you , do not play their slots! I tried and could never even hit anything. Play the tables. We dined only 1 time for lunch in the dining room. All dinners were in the specialty restaurants which we thought were fabulous! Giovanni's was really great and Chops Grille. Izumi was really nice too. Thought it was just sushi, to our surprise they had hot rock that you cooked your own seafood on. Overall i would sail again on the Vision of the Seas.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Our cabin was Aft, right across the very back of ship. love to watch the wake of ship and has a very large balcony.Stateroom was large enough and enough storage. Dressing table.
