Our 50th anniversary cruise. With our cruise in doubt due to 2 cat. 5 hurricanes,Viking gave us outstanding incentives to wait for a new itinerary. When the date came, not only were the air arrangements excellent, but the itinerary was better than the original. The cruise was peaceful with the most outstanding crew of any cruise we have been on.The food was good, and with the included specialty dining, the variety was excellent.

This was not a party cruise, with mostly low key entertainment, but had some great concerts. We were treated like royalty the entire cruise.Free excursions at every port, which dealt mostly with the history and lifestyle of the islanders.Would like to have had more snorkleing opportunities included, but some were available as paid options. We went to several Hurricane affected Islands, and saw the devestation, but found almost no negatives to our excursions which were a help to the locals.I particularly liked having the option of being dropped at the shopping districts in lieu of returning to the ship.

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin V2

Plenty of room with loads of ammenities, including an initial free mini bar stocked with soda and snacks. We were on deck 3 near the back of the ship, and had some minor motion problems at first. The ship in general had more motion than some of the larger ships, but it never became a major problem.
