This was a four night cruise to Hamburg early in January. We'd only ever cruised with Fred Olsen before so this was something of a taster. Would prefer to rate this as between average & very good.

Embarkation at Southampton, was lengthy, we had to queue for about an hour. Maybe that was because we arrived earlier than the time stated on our reservation but if you've travelled some distance you're hardly likely to leave things so as to arrive bang on time.

Cabin (or stateroom as they call it!) was lovely, large with a balcony. Plus a very welcome half bottle of sparkling wine.
