My husband and I are not the typical cruisers. We've been on 2 dozen Caribbean cruises, one to Alaska and I to Europe. We no longer get off the ships in the usual Caribbean ports. So, I've nothing to say about Haiti, Falmouth or Cozumel. Plus we both use walkers.

We mainly travel to relax. enjoy the shows and try new foods. Getting on board was a breeze and for the first time getting off seemed quicker then usual. We arrived at 11:30. I went around making reservations for restaurants and a hair appt. Then lunch . Bags arrived around 3:30.

Allure of the seas has some of the best shows going. I loved Mama Mia, Blue Planet, Ice show, Aqua, comedians and music on board. We've been on Oasis twice and now twice on Allure. The shows are similar but different enough to still enjoy. Reserve in advance, get there early and bring a sweater.
