We wanted a Christmas/New Year break. I saw this cruise on promotion in a newspapers ad. So we booked. t was some good and some not so good.

1. Flights. Flights were with Virgin. We had a lot of problems trying to get an upgrade to Premium Economy, but we finally did it. We tried to check in online 24 hours before departure. Not possible. All seat were booked by the company managing the cruise, not our tour operator. We were allocated seats on check in at Gatwick. I was next to the toilet. Very noisy with passenger from economy coming up throughout the flights to use the toilets! Crew unable to do anything.

2. Transfer and embarkation in Barbados. Very good transfer from airport to ship and excellent embarkation. We were Yacht Club(worth every penny of the extra) passengers and were greeted at the ship by a Butler who took us to our designated reception area and then to our suite.
