I sailed on the Magic 1-6-18 with my husband for our 12th anniversary. We don't get to cruise often, so it's always a treat. We splurged this time and booked a Cloud 9 spa suite, which was fantastic. We really enjoyed the spa access and easy access to the serenity deck. I've never stayed that far forward before. It worked out well because we weren't too far from lido and our dining room was forward as well.

The ship itself was great. Everything seemed well-tended. The staff was excellent -- everyone from our steward to the bartenders to the random guy pushing water off the deck.

Dining was mixed. High points were Blue Iguana and the Prime Steakhouse (get the filet!). I also highly recommend the appetizers at the Red Frog Pub -- even though they cost a little extra. Dinners in the MDR were just "meh" for me. Appetizers and desserts were great, but the entrees were lacking. But food is subjective, so there you have it.

So roomy! Storage everywhere. Our suitcases fit snugly under the bed, so no tripping over those. Two outlets next to the desk. Decent size dressing area outside of bathroom. Bathroom is spacious with full tub and shower. I liked the addition of the Elemis bath products (included shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, and body lotion). They had a nice spicy scent. Hair dryer in the drawer in the dressing area had decent power. Views from balcony were great. I've heard people complain about having the deck 5 lanai block views of the water, but that's really only if you're looking straight down. If you like to people watch, you're golden.
