Recently we joined the Celebrity Solstice in its repositioning cruise from Italy to Fort Lauderdale. The ship is new, well appointed and a good sailor. The gym is one of the best I have used at sea and it is well staffed with good trainers. One of the main drawbacks on board is a lack of card tables which takes the players into dining areas and hogging tables in the Spa breakfast and lunch area. Food in the main dining room is definitely on the cool side. For some reason they cannot get a hot meal from the kitchen to your table despite the fact the kitchen is on the same floor as the dining room. It is one of the most attractive dining rooms at sea. No problem with the quality of the ingredients used in cooking but for some reason the chefs on Solstice like to kill everything with heavy sauces which do not help the food. A big ship, it is easy to move around with excellent fast elevators and wide stairways. Except for the dining room it is well worth a visit. The special dining rooms help make up for it but of course they cost you extra. Maybe that is what Celebrity is aiming at. Buba079

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2B

Cabin 2B

Best entertainment system in any cabin I have ever been in. A wide selection of on demand movies and good TV channels except for CNN TV which is like a CIA broadcast all day long.
