The Bad:

We went out on a birthday cruise for two fraternity brothers. We were supposed to all be eating at the same time and have a celebration for the 50th birthday. Not only did the head waiter not recognize the special event, they stuck us next to the office in the main dining room, we were placed next to the children's table with kids screaming at dinner. It was not a fun time, but we still had to pay the gratuities.

The food on deck 11, Windjammer, is really not that special. Its boring and bland. There must be a lot of waste on previous cruises because the condiments, ketchup, mustard, spicy items are provided in packets, not pumps. Due to the Noro virus breakout last year on this ship, they mandate hand sanitizer every time you enter a dining room. That was weird. Never had that pushed on us on Carnival or Viking.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

Cabin was nice enough, interior room on 6th floor, it was nice and dark. Our steward was nice enough, but his lack of attention to detail was a problem on day 3 as he forgot to provide us the dining menu for early morning. We liked to have breakfast in the cabin, and we had no replacement menu on day 3. Shower is nice, water pressure nice, plenty of space in the bathroom. Pretty quiet from other cabins too.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

We love Cozumel, we ate at Guidos and went shopping in the afternoon only, of course, and had some really great food. Cab rides from the International Dock are 4 bucks into town, so very easy and simple. Recommend Woody's for the live music!
