I have been on the jewel 4 times and other RCCL many times I am Diamond status The service and all waitstaff were wonderful The itinerary was pretty good
NEGATIVE: the bed was so hard that it felt like a cement slab My hips were sore no matter which way I turned They put big pads on the bed to help the situation. The glass shelf in bathroom kept falling off. The safe door was broken
The worst surprise of all was that now they are charging for room service!!!! This just started this year No other cruise line does this Also they raised the cost of gratuities Be prepared to be charged for all these new things
