Sail Date: Dec 2009

We boarded the Carnival Splendor on December 6th for 7 nights to the Mexican Riviera. This ship is beautiful, towering high over the port its very hard to miss a mile from the dock.

The boarding process was adequate, from car to stateroom no more than an hour and a half. This was a budget cruise we did with some family friends, so we had an inside cabin. The stateroom was clean and we really enjoyed the flat screen TV. Also, Carnival is famous for the beds. They are incredible, I slept like a baby!

Back on deck is where things started to slip. Almost every staff member I ran into looked uninterested. Whats worse, several times throughout our cruise, we were met with condescending attitudes. Specifically, on deck at the Pizza Bar, the Sandwich Bar, the main gift shop and the wandering waiters in the Lido buffet area.

Cabin Review

Inside Cabins are a bit small.
