  3. Royal Princess
This cruise was scheduled for 6 ports, but we went to 5. Couldn't go to Princess Private island to tender, to windy and rain and thunderstorms forcasted. Next to St. Thomas. Took taxi to Red Hook to get aboard the Ferry over to Trunk Bay for swimming and snorkeling. Worth every penny. St. Kitts, tour of the Island and on to Raggae Beach. Raggae Beach, not so nice. St. Lucia, tour for 6.5 hours with Cosol. Waterfall, mud bath, fast boat to snorkeling at Sugar bay, and tasted local food. Antigua and Barbados. Our favorite was Barbados and Carlisle Beach. First time for a mini-Suite on Princess and it was wonderful. Comedians, ok. Princess dancers and singers great, especially the Opera. The Atruim was lovely and always something going on. The stewart was prompt and the room always cleaned. The Retreat pool was wonderful and adult only. Disembarkation, a nightmare.

First Class......Great Getaway

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin MC M527
The Cabin stewart was Santosh. We really liked him and he always cleaned and left ice and wine glasses for us. We didn't have robes, he went to get them and they were in our cabin when we arrived from dinner. Loved the suite. It was aproximately 299 Square feet and had a shower and tub. Spacious and relaxing. It also had two flat screen TV's for our enjoyment. I only wished the balcony was as spacious as the room. Really snug and could not use the chair foot rests.

  • Island Tour
$25.00 pp for 3 hours viewing the island and tour guide talked about the price of everything. When we arrived at the port, wanted to go downtown to shop and go to the local beach. Another $15.00 for that. Beach was well worth the price we paid. Carlisle Beach. Beautiful clear water with plentiful water activities and tours galore. Absolutely breathtaking beach!! Beach chairs and umbrellas for rental.

  • Beach
It was $20.00 per person to go to a beach. The beach was down a very rocky road and was a bit deserted. There was old beach chairs and dirty tables. A nice beach bar and drinks. The water was clear but a bit rocky and steep getting in. Great drink: Mango Colada. The tour there was fine.

The snorkeling was terrible. Not much to see. Would never go back!

  • Island Tour
Our 6.5 hour tour was great. Saw most of the Island, went to a waterfall, ate the local food, took a fast boat to Sugar beach to snorkle, (watch out for the strong current), sulfa mud bath and rum punch. The tour guide was a ex police and Military guy, so felt very safe with him. Would recommend this for everyone.

Sugar Beach. It was full of tropical fish but PLEASE be careful when going to far from the beach, even though the area is roped off, The Current Is Very Strong. Unless you have fins, don't go out to far and if your a strong swimmer, you'll be fine. Otherwise, get a life jacket.

It was just ok. Soft skin, just pretty messy.

Choice to go on our own. Took a taxi from the port in St. Thomas to catch the Ferry to Trunk Bay for snorkeling and swimming. It was beautiful.
