Cabin: Aqua Class

This was our first time cruising and we were really not sure if we would like it or not. I had done lots of research on the ship and cabin classes offered by Celebrity.

We really liked the ship. Other reviews talked about how the ship was old, or showing her age, but really there was nothing wrong beyond a few areas of worn carpet we could see. Our cabin (1105) was in good shape and nothing was damaged or worn.

We also liked the food on the shp. It was high quality from the buffet to the high-end dining.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A1

Cabin was very good and in good shape. Not worn or damaged. I was surprised at what wasn't in the cabin after reading other reviews and seeing YouTube videos though. We got the 3 apples and slippers but, no champagne, no rose, no robes. Eventually we got the champagne but having to ask for it later really destroyed the experience.

Also there was nothing to tell us what came with our class like the spa and eating at Blu. It's like they assumed you knew everything already.

I really felt lost as a new cruiser and felt Celebrity really let us down there.

Port Reviews

San Juan

Explored Old San Juan and the fort.

St. Croix

Took a tour and shopped.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Took a tour and shopped.

St. Lucia

Took a tour and shopped.

Barbados

Beautiful island and very well kept up. Also felt very safe.

Grenada

Not real happy here as everyone had his hand out for money and it seemed like every venue charged for everything, including going to the bathroom. This is the one island I would not want to see again.
