This cruise was chosen for its destinations which were wonderful. The ship is old and tired with absolutely no luxurious features. The restaurant is bright and noisy and although waiting staff are friendly the service is often slow, meal portions tiny, no hot beverages served in restaurant. Water is chargeable! After a couple of nights in the restaurant, dressed casually in line with most other diners. Another disappointment as restaurant dining on other cruise ships is a feature of the holiday. Buffet is often chaotic, most passengers did not grasp the idea of waiting in line. Food in buffet is eaten from plastic plates! Pizza is the staple food in the snack bar and this is actually very good, probably due to the amount of practice the chefs get in preparing it. Tea and coffee is available in the self service buffet areas but often struggled to find regular tea bags. Hot water dispenser often out of order. Diluted juice and hot chocolate only available at breakfast. Buffet area less appealing than on many ferries.

Public announcements irregular and hard if not impossible to understand in English.

Met on initial boarding of ship by staff attempting to sell excursions and drinks packages, really, after travelling for 24 hours??!

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom

Very small and basic cabin. Cabin steward excellent. A tight squeeze for 2 x adults, do not know how this cabin could be utilised for 3 or 4 passengers using the pullman beds.
